About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
ARC Space Coworking is a community-focused workspace in Hockley, Nottingham, created within a former lace factory and designed around the needs of small, independent businesses. It brings together resident coworking, regular hot desks and private studio offices in a setting managed by a resident team of architects, with a friendly, collaborative atmosphere rather than a purely formal office environment. Members can choose between open coworking areas and private studios, with dedicated desks and all-inclusive resident memberships also available. The space includes two meeting rooms, presentation areas, private phone booths, quieter zones for focused work and relaxed breakout areas for informal conversations. High-speed internet, A4 and A3 printing, on-site management, bottomless drinks, a workshop with 3D printing, and shower and changing facilities add practical support for the working day. ARC Space is particularly distinctive for combining workspace with places to eat, drink and socialise. The building includes Kawfee, a speciality coffee house, and Laceworks, an on-site craft bar and events venue, alongside lounge and cinema space, a pool table, garden and regular community programming. Members can take part in games nights, lunch clubs, craft sessions, end-of-month socials, live music and other pop-up events, creating plenty of opportunities to meet people and share ideas. The space is aimed at freelancers, remote workers, creatives, professional consultancies, entrepreneurs and small teams looking for a sociable base in central Nottingham. Whether you need a drop-in desk, a private studio or somewhere to meet and collaborate, ARC Space offers a welcoming blend of focused work, creative exploration and genuine community. Dogs are welcome too, provided they are comfortable around people and other dogs.
