About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Augment Community Workspace in Skipton is a social-enterprise workspace run by Augment Partnership CIC, created to help individuals grow and communities thrive. It brings flexible places to work, meet and collaborate together with learning and community-support activity, making it especially relevant to independent workers, small businesses, charities and local organisations. The workspace provides hourly coworking and hot-desking for shorter visits, alongside furnished private offices for focused work, consultations or regular use. Meeting rooms can accommodate groups of up to 20 depending on layout and include high-speed internet, AV equipment, a flipchart and whiteboard. Hospitality and access to office equipment are also part of the serviced environment. Beyond desk and room hire, Augment supports workshops, training and digital inclusion. Its work includes involvement in Craven Reboot and Skipton i-Community, while private consultation spaces can host coaching, mentoring and advice sessions. The venue also works with local groups and supports programmes intended to strengthen wellbeing, skills and connectedness. The atmosphere is warm, inclusive and community-minded, with the team’s resident dog Toby adding to its friendly character. Accessible work and meeting spaces, served by a lift, help make the venue practical for a wider range of visitors. Recycled and repurposed furnishings, eco-conscious suppliers and support for local businesses reflect the organisation’s sustainability values.
