About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Beulah Road Studios is a creative co-working space on the outskirts of Walthamstow Village, bringing together independent practitioners from a wide range of disciplines. Residents have included graphic designers, fine artists, illustrators, writers, journalists, podcast producers, interior designers, landscape designers, bookbinders and paper marblers. The studios occupy a series of former garages that were renovated in 2019. Their deep teal glazed-brick frontage gives the building a memorable presence within the local conservation area, while reflecting the handmade and craft-led character of the work carried out inside. The project was designed by BAT Studio and combines shared artist studios with a bookbinding studio. Alongside workspace for creative professionals, the larger studio includes a multipurpose area intended for workshops, exhibitions and other creative activities for the local community. The website also showcases group exhibitions and window displays connected with local arts activity, making the building part of Walthamstow’s wider creative scene. The resident community spans both established and emerging creative businesses, offering an inspiring environment for people who value shared surroundings and cross-disciplinary connections. Whether you are an artist, designer, writer, maker or other independent creative practitioner, the studios provide a characterful base in a leafy part of Walthamstow Village.
