About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Blick Shared Studios is an independent non-profit creative workspace in Belfast, providing practical, affordable places to work alongside a supportive community of creative professionals. Across its Hill Street, Cotton Court and Great Northern Street studios, Blick offers shared coworking desks and private workspaces in characterful buildings around the Cathedral Quarter and South Belfast. The spaces are furnished and fully serviced, with broadband, utilities and communal areas included. Breakout spaces provide room to step away from the desk, meet clients or connect with fellow residents. The studios are designed specifically for people working in the creative industries, including design, architecture, crafts, advertising, film, music, publishing, software and related disciplines. Members benefit from a professional working environment with opportunities to meet like-minded people, collaborate and share experience. Hill Street is set in a converted warehouse with original features, natural light, a kitchen and mezzanine workspace, while Cotton Court combines an industrial setting with a lively creative community. Great Northern Street offers private and shared workspace in a bright, glass-fronted building near the Lisburn Road. Alongside workspace, Blick provides virtual business address services for creative and other businesses, as well as events, workshops, creative projects and business support. Its programme is particularly suited to emerging creatives, independent practitioners, small creative businesses and established professionals seeking a welcoming alternative to working from home. The organisation’s social-enterprise approach also aims to reinvest its work in Belfast’s local economy and Northern Ireland’s creative industries.
