About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Co/Space is a small shared creative studio in Edinburgh’s West End, offering dedicated desks for freelancers, small business owners and remote workers who want a proper place to work without losing the ease of a friendly, familiar community. Each member has their own desk, chair and storage, with no hotdesking. The space also includes fast broadband, a kitchenette and a meeting room that can be used for calls, meetings, lunch breaks or a change of scene. Round-the-clock access gives members flexibility to fit work around the rest of life. The studio sits on the second floor of Queensferry Street Studios and is described as a quiet, bright space with southwest-facing windows and plenty of natural light. Its central West End setting is well connected by buses and tram, while the atmosphere remains relaxed and sociable. Music is part of the everyday backdrop, and the dog-friendly policy adds an informal touch. Run by Denise, Co/Space works as a self-managing collective in which members share the running costs and look after the studio together. The existing community has links to marketing, copywriting and design, although creative backgrounds are not a requirement. It suits independent professionals who value focus, a little company and the chance to chat, share ideas or get on with their work in their own way.
