About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
COAST Community Hub provides shared co-working and meeting facilities in Lamlash, supporting community groups, local organisations, small businesses and individuals. The premises form part of COAST’s move to Park Terrace, where the organisation is working with local partners to develop a vibrant community hub for Arran. The hub offers a choice of spaces for different working and gathering needs, including boardroom hire, meeting and workshop space, conference facilities and community co-working. These facilities are suited to community meetings, workshops, training courses, collaborative projects and larger gatherings requiring professional meeting equipment. Arran UNESCO Global Geopark and Arran Repair Café are also based in the building, creating a shared setting for organisations with strong local and community connections. The official description presents the co-working area as a supportive community environment rather than a conventional office centre. Whether you need a place to work, bring people together or run a workshop, COAST Community Hub is intended to serve the island’s community organisations, independent businesses and individuals. Its connection with COAST’s wider marine conservation work adds a distinctive community-led character to the space.
