About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
The Digital Forum is a purpose-built coworking and creative workspace in Colchester for digital entrepreneurs, tech start-ups, creative businesses, established firms and digital nomads. It combines open coworking with nine studio spaces, giving individuals and growing teams a professional base in a city-centre setting shaped by the area’s heritage. Hot-desking is available on a drop-in or membership basis, while designated desks support small teams. Members and desk users can make use of high-speed Wi-Fi, additional monitors, meeting-room access, printing, scanning, mail handling, business support, networking and digital skills events. There is also a pop-up podcasting studio and an on-site café and refreshment space. Meetings and gatherings take place in an executive boardroom with interactive screens, audiovisual equipment, conference-call capability, a kitchenette and a balcony. The space also supports networking events, workshops, talks, presentations and collaborative sessions, making it suited to both day-to-day work and community activity. With views towards Firstsite, the Priory ruins and the Roman Wall, the atmosphere balances contemporary technology with Colchester’s character. A friendly, collaborative environment welcomes freelancers, founders, remote teams, established digital and creative businesses, and professionals who want to connect with others. The building also offers lift access, accessible toilets on each floor, cycle storage, nearby public transport and a dog-friendly welcome.
