About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Garway Village Hall is a modern multi-purpose venue serving local people and the wider community in Garway. Available for hire as a whole building or by individual areas and rooms, it can support community gatherings, celebrations, performances, classes and other local activities. The main events hall includes a modular stage, lighting and sound system, while the café area provides a sociable space with a servery. Beyond the main hall, the building includes a 1:1 consultation and treatment room, a small south-facing patio, a fully equipped kitchen with serving hatch, toilets, car parking and bike racks. Ramp access makes arrival easier for people with reduced mobility. The hall is designed to Passivhaus standard and also has solar panels and a mechanical ventilation and heat-recovery system, giving the building a thoughtful environmental design. The venue has an active community programme, with exercise and yoga sessions, barre, choir, table tennis and QiGong alongside craft, drawing and games groups. Regular talks, film nights, live entertainment, coffee mornings, storytelling and library facilities add variety, so there is often something for residents of different ages and interests. Whether you are looking for a practical space for a private event, a room for a consultation or class, or a way to join in with local life, Garway Village Hall offers a well-equipped, community-run setting. Its volunteer-led management and broad programme give it an approachable, inclusive character for local people and the wider community.
