About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Generator Hub is an independent coworking space on Exeter’s historic quayside, created to give freelancers, remote workers, founders and growing businesses a professional place to work alongside a genuine local community. Established in 2012, it pairs the character of its riverside setting with a friendly, down-to-earth approach. Flexible options range from day-use hot desks and monthly coworking membership to permanent dedicated desks. Teams can choose defined areas within the open-plan workspace or private, lockable serviced offices in a variety of sizes, allowing businesses to settle in and expand without taking on a traditional long lease. Five meeting rooms support everything from one-to-one conversations and client meetings to workshops, presentations and team days. Rooms include fast Wi-Fi and refreshments, with screens and whiteboards available. Virtual office and postal services are also offered, including business and registered addresses, mail collection, secure scanning and forwarding. Members have access to a communal kitchen, breakout areas, private phone booths and an outdoor terrace with quayside views. Bike storage, showers, lockers and printing add practical convenience, while regular events and networking help people make useful connections. The atmosphere is designed to feel welcoming rather than corporate, making it a strong fit whether you need an occasional change of scene, a permanent base or room for a growing team.
