About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Host Manchester is a co-working salon and educational space created specifically for independent and self-employed hairdressers. It brings together professional salon facilities, hands-on education and a welcoming creative community, giving hair professionals the space and support to grow their businesses while working alongside like-minded stylists. Members can choose between Flexi Freelance and Fixed Freelance arrangements, offering either flexible chair use or a more permanent dedicated workspace. The salon provides a fully stocked backwash with K18 products, essential tools and supplies, and a thoughtfully designed setting where hairdressers can focus on their clients and craft. Professional development and creative collaboration are central to the experience, with events and educational activity forming part of the wider community. Set across two floors, Host Manchester is filled with expansive windows and carefully positioned styling stations designed to make the most of the natural light. Thirty-six daylight bars help maintain clear, consistent visibility, creating a bright and comfortable environment for both stylists and clients. The open layout is intended to encourage creativity, confidence and connection. The lower-level events and education space extends Host’s role beyond a traditional salon. It is designed for workshops, product launches, presentations and educator-led sessions, while the salon continues to support working hairdressers. Located close to Manchester Piccadilly and set within the former Home nightclub, Host Manchester offers a distinctive, community-minded base for hair professionals who want to work, learn and develop in an inspiring city-centre setting.
