About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Hwb Arloesi provides a practical coworking base in Porthmadog for people who need a professional place to work, meet or develop ideas. Day-hire desks are available alongside Wi-Fi, electrical sockets, a kitchenette and a glass pod suited to virtual meetings. The room can also be hired for meetings, training and other activities. The space is designed for both independent workers and local organisations. Wall-mounted and freestanding televisions can be connected to a laptop, making the room suitable for presentations, collaborative sessions and small group work. Published capacity information indicates room for larger standing gatherings as well as smaller table-based meetings. Hwb Arloesi is also home to the Enterprise Hub, a Menter Môn project offering entrepreneurs business guidance, educational events and a community of like-minded people. This adds a useful support network for start-ups, freelancers and small businesses looking to turn an idea into a viable venture. The wider venue includes Ffiws, a creative makerspace with equipment such as 3D printers, laser and CNC machinery, vinyl and heat presses, and sewing and embroidery machines. Workshops, repair activities and skills-based sessions welcome children, adults and businesses, giving the venue a lively, community-minded character beyond conventional desk hire.
