About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Industry Coworking Chester was a friendly coworking hub in Handbridge, Chester, created for freelancers, remote workers, small businesses and company executives seeking a more sociable alternative to working alone. The official website now states that the Handbridge space is permanently closed, so this description refers to the former venue rather than a current workspace. At its former Victorian listed building, members could use flexible hot desks, dedicated desks and day-pass or monthly membership arrangements. The space was designed to feel welcoming rather than corporate, with bright, airy rooms, mullioned windows, parquet floors, original features and a garden for taking a break. The venue also provided meeting and workshop facilities. The Bureau on the ground floor accommodated up to 20 people, while the larger Hall seated up to 20 around tables or 50 in theatre style. Rooms included Wi-Fi, desks, whiteboards, presentation equipment, speakers and kitchen access, making them suitable for meetings, courses, training and workshops. Everyday amenities included acoustic phone booths, printing, charging points, coffee, tea, fruit, a break area and regular opportunities to connect with other members. Industry also hosted social gatherings, professional networking, workshops and lifestyle events, giving the former workspace a distinctly community-led atmosphere. The operator’s current location and offer should be confirmed separately, as the Handbridge venue is no longer open.
