About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
OreKnot Creative Hub provides training, creative workshops and workspace services for businesses, local residents and community groups in Carmarthen. Its programme includes accredited and non-accredited courses, bespoke training and practical learning in subjects such as first aid, food safety, health and safety, customer service, personal development and creative craft. The hub also supports hands-on making, with dedicated workshop facilities for woodwork, metalwork, casting, pottery, enamelling and CAD-CAM. A communal learning area is used for theory sessions, informal activities and textile or paper-based workshops, while a self-service café area provides space for refreshments and breaks. The environment is suited to both individual tuition and group learning. For people who need a place to work or meet, OreKnot offers hot-desking by the hour, day or month, alongside self-contained office units and shared meeting, conference and kitchen facilities. The venue also provides meeting spaces, adaptable conference facilities, Wi-Fi, colour printing and audio-visual equipment. Its spaces can be arranged for talks, workshops, corporate events, team-building activities, exhibitions and away days. The combination of practical facilities, learning provision and adaptable rooms makes it suitable for freelancers, small businesses, trainers, community groups and event organisers. Children’s craft parties are also available for small groups aged seven and over, with qualified teachers and DBS-checked staff.
