About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Rocketdesk is a friendly co-working space in Guildford for freelance creative technology professionals, remote workers and small teams. It is particularly suited to people creating games, developing apps, editing video, building websites or working in related digital fields, offering a welcoming community rather than an isolated home-working set-up. Members work from a modern, air-conditioned office with dedicated desk space, very high-speed broadband and access to a high-quality meeting room. A kitchen with seated dining space and on-site showers add practical comfort, while covered parking and a shuttle service to Guildford railway station make the setting convenient for commuting. The atmosphere is designed to be focused yet connected. Rocketdesk promotes a distraction-free environment where independent professionals can share knowledge, exchange ideas and build useful industry relationships. Members also benefit from links with local organisations, service providers, publishers and platform holders, alongside networking opportunities connected with Surrey Research Park and wider local industry events. This is a strong fit for start-ups, freelancers, indie developers and small creative teams who want a professional base in a green, tech-focused setting. With flexible membership arrangements, additional virtual office and storage services, and podcast filming and production support, Rocketdesk offers a practical home for people looking to concentrate, collaborate and grow their work.
