About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Somewhere Different is a coworking and coliving house in Blackpool created for digital nomads, remote workers and location-independent professionals. It combines a productive working environment with the opportunity to live alongside like-minded travellers and experience the character of the Lancashire coast. The house offers two dedicated coworking rooms: a main room designed for quiet working and a separate basement room intended for uninterrupted concentration. Guests have their own desks, direct wired connections at the coworking desks and fast Wi-Fi throughout the property, while bedroom desks provide a private option for calls or focused work. Alongside the work areas, residents have their own room and access to a shared kitchen and living space. The kitchen is set up for communal living, with generous preparation space, multiple cookers, fridges and individual storage. The Victorian house also provides a distinctive setting, with original character and a relaxed, homely atmosphere rather than the feel of a conventional office. Community is central to the experience. Shared meals, informal gatherings, professional show-and-tell sessions and group outings help residents meet one another and explore Blackpool, the seafront and nearby countryside. It is particularly suited to people who want reliable facilities for weekday work, a sociable house environment and a more unusual base from which to discover northern England.
