space282 Basildon is a town-centre coworking and serviced office venue for freelancers, remote workers, start-ups, small businesses and larger teams. It offers hot desks, dedicated desks and private offices, with workspace advertised for individuals through to groups of up to 200 people. Hire is available by the day, week or month, providing a practical base for focused work, client meetings or a regional business presence. Daily desk users have individual workstations, high-speed Wi-Fi, gaming chairs and complimentary tea and coffee. Private office hire includes a desk, gaming chair and Wi-Fi, along with access to a kitchen and complimentary drinks. The wider dedicated-desk service also advertises an individual desk, ergonomic chair, storage and access to other space282 facilities. The Basildon meeting room is suitable for around four to six people and includes a whiteboard, a screen with HDMI connection, high-speed Wi-Fi and refreshments. Users can also access a breakout area, making the space useful for client appointments, small team discussions and focused sessions away from the main desk area. The venue sits in Basildon town centre, close to parking and within walking distance of the bus and railway stations, with links towards Southend-on-Sea and London. Access to the workspace is via lift or stairs to the first floor, although the official site notes that the Basildon meeting room does not have disabled access. Its combination of short-term desk hire, private offices and meeting facilities suits independent professionals, hybrid workers, growing companies and teams needing a convenient place to work or meet.
