About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
The Hive Bude is a relaxed coworking space in Bude, North Cornwall, created as an alternative to working from home or using a corporate office. Established in 2016, it welcomes freelancers, start-ups and individual business owners looking for an informal yet professional place to work, focus and grow. The atmosphere is designed to feel friendly and connected, with a community of people from different industries sharing ideas and opportunities. Workspace is arranged around hotdesks, shared desks and dedicated permanent desks, with options for single desks, small clusters and larger group areas. Members benefit from desk and chair use, key access on relevant packages, superfast fibre broadband and a professional mailing address. Tea, coffee and milk are provided, while free parking is available directly outside, making the space practical for regular users travelling into Bude. The setting is one of The Hive’s most distinctive features. The workspace occupies a converted barn surrounded by green fields, with a duck pond outside, while the town, coastal paths, beaches and views are described as around a five-minute walk away. It offers a quieter rural alternative to a conventional town-centre office without feeling disconnected from local life. Whether you are building a start-up, developing a creative business or simply seeking a more sociable routine than a home office allows, The Hive provides a focused base with room to meet, collaborate and work alongside like-minded people. The space is best suited to members seeking an ongoing desk arrangement rather than short-term or ad hoc use.
