About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
The Old Church School is a shared workspace in Frome, set in a Grade II listed former school and boxing club arranged around a landscaped courtyard. The building is home to 24 studios, a welcoming coworking lounge and a lively community of independent thinkers, entrepreneurs and growing businesses. Workspace options include private, lockable studios for two to ten people, dedicated desks, flexible coworking memberships and a virtual mailbox service. This gives freelancers, start-ups and small teams room to work in a way that suits them, whether they need a regular base, a private studio or a more flexible desk arrangement. The coworking area offers comfortable seating, monitors and plenty of plug sockets, while the members’ lounge has a more relaxed café-style feel with booth seating and sofas. Members can use the shared kitchen, superfast Wi-Fi, private phone booths, mailboxes, parking, showers and bike racks, with complimentary tea and barista coffee adding to the welcoming atmosphere. For meetings and events, The Old Church School has two meeting rooms with conference tables and TV screens, plus a larger event space with a projector, Sonos speakers, sofas, booth seating, tables, chairs and kitchen facilities. The spaces are suited to meetings, workshops, talks, clubs, conferences and other informal gatherings, with accessible meeting facilities available. Friendly host and community managers help create a relaxed, productive environment where people can settle in, connect with like-minded individuals and grow their work. It is a particularly appealing choice for freelancers, independent professionals, start-ups, creative businesses and small teams seeking a characterful workspace with practical shared facilities.
