About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
The Seed is a rural coworking and event space at Creake Abbey near Fakenham, created for people who want a more connected alternative to working alone at home. Its setting in the Norfolk countryside gives the space a calm, distinctive character, while the community-led approach is designed to help people meet, share advice and build useful relationships. Hot desking is at the heart of the offer, with day and membership options described for freelancers, creative entrepreneurs, wellness professionals and remote workers. The space has also been presented as a practical base for holiday homeowners and visitors who need somewhere to work while spending time in the area. Beyond everyday desk space, The Seed brings people together through regular networking and community events. Its programme has included creative workshops, fitness and wellbeing classes, guided walks and other activities intended to support both personal wellbeing and professional connections. The space has also been used for retreats and occasional pop-up shops, giving it a broader role than a conventional office. Whether you are looking for a focused place to work, a welcoming setting for a workshop or a chance to meet other independent-minded people, The Seed’s appeal lies in that mix of purpose and sociability. Its rural surroundings, relaxed atmosphere and emphasis on collaboration make it particularly suited to creatives, small-business owners, freelancers and anyone seeking a little more community in their working week.
