The Study is the co-working space above Above the Bookshop, Falmouth Bookseller’s bookish café in Falmouth. It offers eight dedicated desks, each named after a favourite writer, in a light, airy setting created to help you settle into focused work. Daily, weekly and monthly hire makes it suitable for both occasional visits and a more regular working base. Every hire includes a desk and chair, superfast fibre Wi-Fi, complimentary tea and coffee facilities and a barista coffee on arrival. Co-workers also receive a café discount during the day, making it easy to take a proper break without leaving the building. The atmosphere is calm and considerate rather than rigidly silent, with users asked to keep noise to a minimum. A separate Snug adds a flexible option for people who need a more private setting. It can be hired by Study users for an hour-long meeting, while its comfortable seating is available for shared use when it is not reserved. The wider Above the Bookshop setting brings a distinctly literary character, with the café downstairs serving coffee, light food, cakes and cream teas, alongside a programme of book talks and social events.
