About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
The Work Lab by space282 provides a practical coworking and serviced-office setting for professionals, remote workers and growing teams in Rayleigh. Desks are available to hire by the day, week or month, while private offices cover one- or two-person use as well as larger team requirements. Daily desk hire includes super-fast Wi-Fi, gaming chairs and complimentary tea and coffee, giving you a straightforward place to concentrate away from home. The space also includes a coffee lounge and breakout area for informal conversations or a change of scene, alongside a kitchen with Nespresso coffee, filtered water, fridge and microwave facilities. For calls and online meetings, soundproofed phone booths provide a more private option and may also suit podcast recording. Meeting-room hire is available by the hour, with a whiteboard, screen with HDMI connection, Wi-Fi and refreshments. The setting works well for client conversations, focused individual work and small-team sessions. Positioned near the Rayleigh Weir junction and A127, the venue offers on-site parking and convenient access to the surrounding road network. It is a useful choice for freelancers, remote workers, consultants, start-ups and established businesses seeking a professional base without committing to a conventional long-term office arrangement.
