About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
UNIT8 Studios is a creative coworking hub in St Werburghs, Bristol, bringing independent creatives together in a distinctive industrial-style setting. It combines desks, artist studios, workshops and a central warehouse and event space, creating a practical base for people who want to work, make and collaborate in the company of others. The desk area offers spacious workstations, natural light, greenery, a shared garden and complimentary tea and coffee. Around it, the wider building is a welcoming warehouse surrounded by studios, with a flexible, messy-friendly feel that suits hands-on creative work as well as everyday desk-based practice. As a venue, UNIT8 can host workshops, exhibitions, photoshoots, live music nights, parties, brand launches and other creative gatherings. Flexible layouts, a good sound system, shared garden and outdoor space, plus support from the resident creative community, allow each event to take on its own shape. The space is particularly well suited to artists, designers, makers, creative businesses, workshop leaders and event organisers. Its community-led programme also makes it a natural place to discover grassroots culture, meet fellow creatives and take part in workshops and social events.
